Along with these features, the feedback messages are required to be:​

Immediate,Specific,Helpful,Accurate,Relevant,Tailored,Solicited, Frequent, Balanced, Confidential, Understandable, Non‑judgemental,Based on first‑hand data and to involve corrective plans.
